BIBLE PROVERBS:THE CAPABLE WIFE

•  A good wife is her husband's pride and joy; but a wife who brings shame on her husband is like a cancer in his bones.-BIBLE PROVERBS 12:4
• Homes are made by the wisdom of women, but are destroyed by their foolishness.-BIBLE PROVERBS 14:1 
• Find a wife and you found a good thing; it shows that the Lord is good to you.-BIBLE PROVERBS 18:22
• A man can inherit a house and money from his parents, but only the Lord can give him a sensible wife.-BIBLE PROVERBS 19:1
• Better to live on the roof than share the house with a nagging wife.-BIBLE PROVERBS 21:9
• Better to live out in the desert than with a nagging, complaining wife.-BIBLE PROVERBS 21:19
• A nagging wife is like water going drip-drip-drip on a rainy day. How can you keep her quiet? Have you ever tried to stop the wind or tried to hold a handful of oil?-BIBLE PROVERBS 27:15-16  
• How hard it is to find a capable wife! She is worth far more than jewels!

1. Her husband puts his confidence in her, and he will never be poor. As long as she lives, she does him good and never harm.
2. She keeps herself busy making wool and linen cloth.
3. She brings home food from out-of-the-way places, as merchant ships do.
4. She gets up before daylight to prepare food for her family and to tell her servant-girls what to do.
5. She looks at land and buys it, and with money she has earned she plants a vineyard.
6. She is a hard worker, hard and industrious.
7. She know the value of everything she makes, and works late into the night.
8. She spins her own thread and weaves her own cloth.
9. She is generous to the poor and needy.
10. She doesn't worry when it snows, because her family has warm clothing.
11. She makes bedspreads and wears clothes of fine purple linen.
12. Her husband is well known, one of the leading citizens.
13. She makes clothes and belts, and sells them to merchants.
14. She is strong and respected and not afraid of the future.
15. She speaks with a gentle wisdom.
16. She is always busy and looks after her family's needs.
17. Her children show their appreciation, and husband praises her.
18. He says,"Many women are good wives, but you are the best of them all."
19. Charm is deceptive and beauty disappears, but a woman who honours the Lord should be praised. Give her credit for all she does. She deserves the respect of everyone.
