BIBLE PROVERBS:WEALTH

  Those who depend on their wealth will fall like the leaves of autumn, but the righteous will prosper like the leaves of summer.-BIBLE PROVERBS 11:28



• Some people pretend to be rich, but have nothing. Others pretend to be poor, but own a fortune.-BIBLE PROVERBS 13:7
• A rich man has to use his money to save his life, but no one threatens a poor man.-BIBLE PROVERBS 13:8
• The more easily you get your wealth, the sooner you will lose it. The harder it is to earn, the more you will have.-BIBLE PROVERBS 13:11
• Wise people are rewarded with wealth, but fools are known by their foolishness.-BIBLE PROVERBS 14:24
• Righteous men keep their wealth, but wicked men lose theirs when hard times come.-BIBLE PROVERBS 15:6
• Better to be poor and fear the Lord than to be rich and in trouble.-BIBLE PROVERBS 15:16
• The Lord is like a strong tower, where the righteous can go and be safe. Rich people, however, imagine that their wealth protects them like high, strong walls round a city.-BIBLE PROVERBS 18:10-11

• Obey the Lord, be humble, and you will get riches, honour, and a long life.-BIBLE PROVERBS 22:4
• Be wise enough not to wear yourself out trying to get rich. Your money can be gone in a flash, as if it had grown wings and flown away like an eagle.-BIBLE PROVERBS 23:4-5
• Look after your sheep and cattle as carefully as you can, because wealth is not permanent. Not even nations last forever. You cut the hay and then the grass on the hillsides while the next crop of hay is growing. You can make clothes from the wool of your sheep and buy land with the money you get by selling some of your goats. The rest of the goats will provide milk for you and your family, and for your servant-girls as well.-BIBLE PROVERBS 27:23-27
• Better to be poor and honest than rich and dishonest.-BIBLE PROVERBS 28:6
• If you get rich by charging interest and taking advantage of people, your wealth will go to someone who is kind to the poor.-BIBLE PROVERBS 28:8
• Honest people will lead a full, happy life. But if you are in a hurry to get rich, you are going to be punished.-BIBLE PROVERBS 28:20
• Selfish people are in such a hurry to get rich that they do not know when poverty is about to strike.-BIBLE PROVERBS 28:22
